TRANSPORTATION
Airport Van Service: Santa
Cruz Airporter 800-497-4997. RESERVE AHEAD! From San Jose every
90 minutes. Also serves San Francisco. Ask for the special Conference
pre-paid, round-trip price. Tell your driver you’re going to the
top end of College Eight.
Coming by Bus: In Santa Cruz, call Greyhound
at 831-423-1800; Greyhound’s main number is 1-800-231-2222.
Local Transportation: Santa Cruz Metro has a
good local transit system. The bus to downtown Santa Cruz runs
frequently (possibly no service July 4th). Call 831-425-8600 for
information on travel to College Eight.
OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
CLIMATE AND CLOTHING: Dress is casual and comfortable.
Days are usually warm (70˚s-80˚s F), but at night, it is often
quite cool (low 50˚s-60˚s). There is morning fog, keeping temperatures
down till it burns off. No matter what the weather is where you
are, please bring things warm enough to be comfortable! Include
a warm sweater or jacket, and you may want your slippers. Bring
a hat and sun screen for Dowsing School. Rain is unusual, but
occasionally comes to greet us, even in July.
VOLUNTEERS are always needed and are most welcome. We
especially need help Thursday & Friday before the Conference,
and Tuesday as the Conference is ending. For more information,

SALES TABLES, BOOKS AND TOOLS: There is a wide selection
of books, dowsing tools and other interesting things for sale
by our presenters in our open-air marketplace.
FEES FOR SERVICES: Please be aware that during the Conference,
no participant may offer services on campus for any charge.
