Lecture: The Power of Place
Strong visualization improves your dowsing. Immersing ourselves in inspiring words, stunning photography and contemplative music, we will explore the terrain of inner and outer landscapes. Using real world experience and the power of our five senses, we will journey to specific landscapes to strengthen our ability to keenly and precisely visualize. Based in the ancient aboriginal wisdom of the Native Americans and Celtic Earth Mysteries, this presentation introduces eight archetypal landscapes. By improving our skill at visualization we improve our ability to dowse.

Cindy Pavlinac has studied many years with indigenous healers. A fine art photographer and former editor of Shaman’s Drum magazine, her photos of sacred sites and labyrinths have appeared in over 300 publications. Cindy A. Pavlinac is a Fine Art Photographer, writer, and musician specializing in multimedia presentations which convey the beauty and mystery and power of place. She earned a Masters Degree in Arts and Consciousness Studies focusing on the use of art and dance for healing in ancient cultures and a B.A. in Fine Art, minoring in astrophysics, with archeology study in Athens, Greece. Her photos of sacred sites have appeared in over 300 publications, and labyrinths have featured prominently in her work and travels since 1982. Gary Plapp has been dowsing for 30 years and is a workshop instructor, tour guide, speaker, writer, inventor and earth energy researcher. Gary is a dowsing consultant and conducts water/ mineral dowsing and earth energy – environmental corrections for homes and businesses. He has been an aerospace-research electrical engineer (MS) for over 40 years and recently retired from Lockheed Martin at NASA - Ames Research Center. Gary pioneered biofeedback instrumentation and became the president/ owner of Humatech Engineering. Like many dowsers, Donna-Lee Powers draws from a background of many disciplines, but today works primarily as a massage therapist, flower essence practitioner and Intuitive Consultant in the area of personal and spiritual development. Lecture 2: Radionics: The Mystery of the Black Box
Radionics is the arena where the intuitive skills of dowsing and the practical techniques of engineering come together. Radionics methods sharpen and extend your abilities to both send and receive vibrational information. Richard (Dick) Rierdan, Ph.D, is an experienced Radionics practitioner. He will explain its origins and show you how to build and use the "black boxes". The results will amaze you.

Richard (Dick) Rierdan, Ph.D. has been a researcher and practitioner in the area of subtle energies for over forty years. He has developed skills in the use of Dowsing and Radionics for all levels of healing, from physical to financial. He is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Behavioral Science at Pepperdine University, where he taught "Shaman Engineering" to MBA students for over thirty years. For twenty-five years, Dick has maintained a Stress Therapy practice in Pasadena, specializing in various kinds of emotional and physical disorders. For almost a decade, he was a faculty member at Westbrook University, teaching Color Therapy. He has published in a number of places, including the ASD Journal and the Journal of The British Society of Dowsers. To have fun, Dick researches and designs subtle energy broadcasting equipment, collects and plays ethnic musical instruments, and teaches Shamanism in Hawaii, his second home. Shirley Runco has been a member of ASD for twelve years and is currently coordinator for Dowsers of the East Bay, a group of dowsers and friends of dowsers who meet on the first Saturday of each month in Oakland, CA. She owns and operates www.dowsersofthewest.org, teaches monthly Pendulum Dowsing Classes and hosts a monthly Dowser‚s Roundtable Gathering in various locations around the East Bay. She has taught in the Youth Program at the West Coast Conference for seven years, and for two years in the Specialized Dowsing School. Last year she helped out at the Basic Dowsing School at the Can-Am Conference and taught at both the Can-Am and the Southwest Regional Conference.
